Yesterday, the world celebrated the centenary anniversary of Robert Falcon Scott reaching the South Pole. Sadly, neither him nor any of his expedition team survived the bleak trek back to base to tell the tale. Fortunately, his diaries were found. His story is one of vision and disappointment.
