Improving favelas

In yr.9 pupils have been completing their key homework on improving a favela... The Centre for Alternative Technology (or CAT for short) is in Wales, so not exactly near any favelas... but they have lots of brilliant ideas for sustainable living and their website/ resources are well worth a look if this is the kind of thing that gets your wind turbine spinning. Or floats your boat capable of harnessing the energy of the waves to make electricity! You get the idea!
