Children aged between eight and 15 have voted Stonehenge in Wiltshire as the the most iconic landmark in the UK.
The megalithic monument was chosen over other famous sites such as Blackpool Tower and the White Cliffs of Dover in the poll.
Hadrian's Wall took second spot, beating more modern landmarks such as Antony Gormley's Angel of the North and the London Eye.
Some 2,500 children were questioned for the poll.
Mark Kemp, from Travelodge, which organised the poll, said: "It's great news that young Brits are keen to preserve Great Britain's heritage, as most of the attractions to make the children's top 10 list of iconic British landmarks are steeped in history."
