Ghost Fleet of Cargo Ships Reveals State Of World Trade

Hundreds of tankers, freight containers and bulk carriers are rusting away due to the current global recession.The armada has been called the "ghost fleet of the recession". The ships have no crews, no cargo and in this economic climate, nowhere to go.
Some 12 per cent of the world's freighters, tankers and bulk carriers are now idle because companies and consumers are cutting back on their buying.
